Biography
Dr. Zhao earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dr. Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering at UT. He is senior personnel at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Institute. Dr. Zhao’s research interests are focused on Computational Systems Biology and Medical Informatics.
